# Rotten Gaper Variants Expansion — 19 New Types!

## Overview

This mod expands the Rotten Gaper, an enemy found in the Corpse floor, by introducing 19 new variations.
Each variant has its own look and AI pattern, bringing fresh unpredictability to previously repetitive encounters.

Rotten Gapers are now assigned to one of five behavior groups at random.
Within each group, there’s a **1-in-4 chance** to spawn as one of four unique visual variants.
The result is a total of 19 distinct combinations that can appear throughout your run.

## Features

* Adds 19 unique Rotten Gaper variants

## Variant Types

Each Rotten Gaper may appear as one of the following:

* **Normal** – Behaves similarly to the default Rotten Gaper
* **Bruiser** – Slightly tougher and leaves a trail of blood behind
* **Maggotface** – High HP and periodically spawns maggots into the room
* **Charger** – Rushes rapidly at the player and explodes into flesh and bone upon hitting walls

These variants are distributed randomly within their behavior groups, offering fresh and twisted surprises in every fight.

All variants have been carefully designed to match the visual style and tone of The Binding of Isaac.
They maintain the grotesque, horror-infused atmosphere while making enemy encounters feel more dynamic and less repetitive.
