Quarrying Overhaul - One Hit Nodes

描述
This mod changes quarrying to be much faster by reducing the number of hits needed for all stone and granite nodes to a single hit.

Stone nodes will yield 20 stone
Large Stone nodes will yield 100 stone
Granite nodes will yield 20 granite

We have also allowed harvesting of these items within neutral village limits, as well as removed tool damage for harvesting them.

The amount of stone gained, is statistically, the average return it would take to break the stone normally. All we did, was make it take 1 hit, not 500.

Small stones take forever to get rid of, at least this mod gets rid of an unrealistic long process of mining small stone but shouldn't be applied to big stones due to resources overflowing:steamhappy:.

@Cihiu They've already said they have no intention of changing the mod at this time after you asked the first time. Either use the mod or don't. If it "breaks your immersion", don't use it.

great work from you and others helping other players enjoy the game

but i do believe options for players who still want to "play the game and not skipping most entirety" are needed

for instance i myself originally was looking at your mining overhaul mod
for the increase in total durability so that a base can be used a little longer,
but since they are all packed with completely removing tool durability and crude stone from loot table, i had to look yet again for mods that rebalanced crude stone as steady income,
esp early game

in short Void Sama, share us ocd people some love please!

the problem is piling up all 3 modifications:
single hit
increase yield
remove tool dmg
into this single mod unreservedly breaks game immersion and mechanic

i think majority of the players that enjoy your work would want a more fair and convenient mean to harvest stone, rather than outright saitama every boulders on their ways

Stone, and by proxy Granite, are such low required goods in the game, that they are often more just in the way, than anything else. We have no intention of changing how this mod functions at this time. If the devs ever "properly" set up the modkit, so we can do blueprinting, we will add more options.

any chance we get a version of this that keeps the hits needed but guarantee yield like that mod of the copper and tin nodes?

Unless you plan to make dozens and dozens of the tier 3 buildings, you wont need all that much granite at all. Last we counted, it was like, ~300 or so to craft one of every single building that needed it, and to research them all. Its such a small amount needed, that you dont even need to go out of your way to harvest it at all.
