🧠 The Gu’Peel is a unique, fish-shaped submarine designed for deep-sea domination in the darkest trenches of Europa. Inspired by nature’s finest killing machines, Gu’Peel combines mobility, ingenuity, and absurd aggression to create a one-of-a-kind playstyle: bite first, ask questions never.

All systems use 100% vanilla components, painstakingly stitched together with surgical precision and artistic spite.

  • Open Airlock Mouth/Moonpool:
    • Sick of wasting coilgun ammo on every mudraptor with an attitude? Open wide and let the crew do the dirty work. Simply scoop enemies into your gaping maw and let the crew handle the rest.
  • Unique fish design:
    • Hydrodynamic and horrifying – Gu’Peel blends speed with style. Swim like a sardine, strike like a barracuda.
  • Open Hull:
    • Flood fast, drain faster. Design embraces water flow for agile ballast control and high-stakes engineering maneuvers.
  • Two guns, one Periscope and a switch to control them all:
    • Use the switch in gunnery to change between the front railgun and chaingun. Lights and labels to know which gun you are controlling.
  • 🦷 Swim fast. Bite hard. Leave no remains. 🦷

Thanks to your comment, I now want to see how fast I can propel myself outside of the gupeel's mouth.

Murder Spider? Is that a Latcher or a Charybdis? Either way, yes. Also if you stand in the mouth and the sub gets hit from the back, you can go flying out the front. :3
I suggest running Barotraumatic or Let Them All In mod, both allow all creatures inside the sub, for the best experience.

Nope, wanted it to be balanced, so there is no help from the sub when you are fighting things in the mouth. :3

The first sub I ever built, which was 4 years ago, has a scooping mouth. Came up with the idea right after traits update when medics had to kill the thing themselves and not use the subs guns, in order to get genetics from looting the bodies.
