Re: Non-bullet builds - I actually find these are very strong as well, but I've never been able to get certain bullet-based builds to quite work, especially on certain weapons (Still going for all achievements at the moment). Deleting one upgrade per level up definitely helps with consistency in runs where I'm just going for achievements, although I fear that in endless mode it might end up kneecapping scaling.
As for the mutations guide part 2 - I look forward to it! And the guide on upgrade compatibilities - you seem to have a very deep operational knowledge of the game and its synergies.
Also, I wouldn't worry too much about editing, if you ever consider making youtube videos - in a market this barren, even uncommentated runs would be a useful guide.
Tbh, builds where you rely on alternate damage to bullets are both fun and powerful which is why I gravitate towards them. There are also so many options to choose and basically everything is viable. I'll do a guide based around upgrade compatibilities for ya, but I also recommend trying to delete one upgrade per level up, unless all the upgrades are super strong for your build!
I have considered being a disfigure youtuber, the market is so open right now that my game-sense could make me a staple disfigure youtuber. But I'm very lazy at editing haha, I'll stick to guides for now
