TRN - Apollon Missile Platform MKI

The Apollon Missile Platform is an autonomous, placeable missile defense system designed for efficient perimeter protection and tactical area denial. Armed with eight horizontally-launched light SRM (Short-Range Missile) systems, it can engage targets within a 2.5 km radius, delivering rapid and precise strikes against hostile craft.

Equipped with automated reloading, target acquisition, and hold-fire protocols, the Apollon operates fully independently, requiring only occasional resupply. Its compact and modular design allows for quick deployment across defensive perimeters, outposts, and high-risk installations.

However, the platform lacks any form of point-defense weaponry, making it vulnerable to close-range threats and saturation by small, fast-moving targets. As such, it is strongly recommended to integrate the Apollon into a layered defense grid alongside other stations or turrets capable of intercepting missiles and strike craft.
