A pair of Moscow electric trains from the 2000s: an airport express and a suburban express EMU.

ED4MKM-AERO (ЭД4МКМ-АЭРО)
A variant of the ED4MKM electric train, which is a further development of the ED4 electric train with a streamlined cabin, sealed inter-car passageways, gap-free inter-car coupling and a smooth, non-corrugated body. The trains run in Moscow between Paveletsky terminus and Domodedovo airport; previously, they also connected Kievsky terminus and Vnukovo airport.
The cars have a signature red Aeroexpress paint scheme; 6 to 11 cars, though normally 8.

EM4 "Sputnik"
EM4 is a refurbished train based on the ER2, extending their service life. It was produced in 2003-2006 at the Moscow Locomotive Repair Plant and the Riga Carriage Works. The cabin was replaced, a third door was added, and the motor bogies were taken from the ED4. A total of 15 trains were modernized in this way. The trains turned out to be very unreliable and did not last long, but many passengers remembered the trains for their increased level of comfort.
They were used on the Yaroslavl direction and had a gray-beige color scheme with an orange decal: #fc5308. The composition was from 6 to 11 cars; the real train sets had 11 cars.
