Operation Rising Lion, 2025 (Improved)

June 13, 2025: The world holds its breath. After years of shadow wars and diplomatic failures, the crisis with Iran has reached its boiling point. Intelligence is unequivocal: Iran is on the cusp of developing a nuclear weapon, a threat the State of Israel cannot allow to materialize. The time for talk is over.
As commander of the Israeli Defense Forces, you are about to launch Operation Rising Lion, the most complex and audacious military operation in a generation. This is a single, decisive strike to dismantle Iran's nuclear ambitions permanently and will be the opening shots in the Iran-Israel war.
But this will be no simple bombing run. Iran has turned its territory into a fortress. A dense, deeply layered Integrated Air Defense System (IADS) stands between your forces and their targets. From the advanced SA-20s to the mobile Tor-M1s, and a whole host of homegrown systems, a web of lethal surface-to-air missiles guards the approaches. One mistake, one deviation from the plan, and your multi-billion dollar aircraft will be turned into falling debris.
Your Mission: Take command of the entire Israeli air campaign. Success will require meticulous planning and flawless execution across multiple, simultaneous phases:


Spearhead the Attack: Utilize the F-35I "Adir" stealth fighters to punch the initial holes in the enemy's defenses, striking the most hardened and critical targets.

Dominate the Skies: Master a massive SEAD/DEAD (Suppression/Destruction of Enemy Air Defenses) campaign. Your F-16I "Sufa" Wild Weasels are the key to survival for the entire strike force. Hunt down and kill every enemy radar and SAM battery that dares to transmit.

Unleash the Hammer: Command waves of F-15I "Ra'am" and F-16I strike eagles, launching standoff munitions from within the corridors you have violently carved out of the sky.

Defend the Homeland: As you strike deep into enemy territory, brace for the inevitable counter-attack. A storm of ballistic missiles and drones can be assured. You must manage Israel's multi-layered air defense network to protect your cities and bases from annihilation.
This version of the scenario has been greatly reworked, with a vast improvement to the assets of both Israel and Iran, to make them both more reflective of their real life capabilities and the known realities of this operation.



You can now simulate the actions of the Mossad infiltration agents in the hours before the air campaign. Can you deal a decisive strike on Iran's vital air defenses or will you cause things to go awry...

A truly challenging SEAD/DEAD environment that will actually test veteran CMO players and demonstrate the threat environment Israel had to pacify.

The starting loadouts on the F-35's swapped over to an actual stealth loadout rather than the non-stealthy loadout of the original scenario.

The potential for Iran to mount a sustained and lethal missile counter attack that will push your assets to the limits (or even end your campaign prematurely).

The addition of the United States in the scenario, when they get involved will be dependent on how well (or how bad) things go for Israel.

And for the purpose of giving you more interesting gameplay, the Iranian airforce will now actually try to fight you! Emphasis on "try".
