Compost Bins

This mod adds compost bins to the game! These will feed the plants nearby making them grow 2x faster. To make them work, you will need to add nutritious material to the compost bin.

The compost bins consume their compost throughout the day, so you will have to refill them with more food. Farmers will fill the compost bins if they are almost empty, prioritizing foods with higher nutrition.

You can tweak the plant growth speed rate, the compost consumption rate and more in the settings.

Requires starting a new game. Not tested in co-op.

• Build Compost Bin. Construction level 2 + ToolBox + 4 Wood

The settings file can be found in the mod's folder under "Settings_CompostBins.xml".

• DaysTillCompostBinEmpty. Days for a full compost bin to empty. (default 2)
  
• PlantGrowthRateIncrease. The speed at which plants grow around compost bins. (default 2)
  
• CompostBinRange. The range of compost bins. (default 8)
  
• FoodCompostPercentage. The percentage of nutrition of a given food item added to compost. (default 0.8)
  
• CompostableItems. List of items that are not edible but can be added to compost. For example the Cremated Ashes from the Incinerator mod.

Could have incompatibilities with mods altering farming functionality.
