描述
Inspired by Fallout "AutoDoc" devices. I wanted to create some advanced technology that can support single-pawn colonies and generally reduce the tending routine after big fights.

An advanced hospital unit, that can tend to injuries of your colonists.
It will tend to any pawn in any bed with the following specifics:
- Affects any pawn in bed across 1 tile (counts from the bed headpiece).
- Tends with random (~50%-75% range) quality.
- Tends one injury/affliction per 4.2 seconds.
- Emits a low green glow (2 tiles).
- Requires 150W to function. You can flick it to turn it off when it's not needed.

You can construct RimTek DocMate after researching Hospital Beds.

The building uses "rare" ticker (only once per 4.2 seconds) to avoid performance loss. You can also turn it off to completely stop the code until it's turned on again.

P.S. If you want a more advanced/complex version that acts as a bed/can install bionics and consumes medicine, check out this mod by Ordos/Miles.

I've been looking for good mods like this, the idea you mentioned about adding better tiers would be a very helpful idea. Good mod, looking forward to any expansions you make to the RimTek collection.

@Hykal This is bringing in Biotech, but I was thinking that the first tier uses no subcore but heals way slower, the more advanced one which is this requires a Standard subcore.

Thank you for the feedback, Hykal.

I am just getting into Rimworld modding/coding (even though I've made art/XML mods for years), so my intention with this mod was to see if I can make it at all. And I have a bunch of other concepts I want to try first.

I will do another pass to do Balance/Content update, and will consider yours and others' feedback. Potentially making stronger MKII/MKIII version with more expensive components, and making this one weaker.

@Deon

I actually think considering how advanced Auto-Docs are in Fallout, the RimTek DocMate should use Adv. Components instead of normal Components and Glitterworld meds over normal Meds. I'd even go as far to suggest that it should be locked behind Hospital Beds AND Fabrication in the Research tree. As is, this is a generously cheap machine that does a fair bit, even compared to Biotech's Paramedics.

Looking forward to see more of your mods.

I already checked the code, and I understand how it works. What I meant is that there's already a good optimized mod maintained by Miles that I linked in my description, no reason to duplicate and make it worse (I am a newbie in coding).

> if you stack multiple of these adjacent to a hospital bed will they stack their healing tick ability?
Yes, each of them does 1 treatment per 4.2 seconds, so 2 would do it separately.
