"An advanced iteration in the SRS99 series, the SRS99E-S4 AM is a gas-operated, magazine-fed sniper system chambered in the formidable 14.5×114mm round. Bridging the legacy of the SRS99-AM and the streamlined ergonomics of the SRS99C-S2 AM, it features a widened, multi-spectrum scope suite and a re-engineered rear bolt assembly for faster cycling and improved balance. Widely deployed in ONI black ops and high-risk long-range engagements, the S4’s reliability and punch make it a favored tool for eliminating HVTs through power armor or reinforced cover. Its refined design reflects the UNSC’s shift toward adaptable, modular sniper platforms capable of sustaining prolonged overwatch in hostile environments."

This mod replaces the Hunting Rifle in L4D2 with the SRS99E-S4 AM Sniper Rifle from the Halo SVP3 mod. It comes with custom animations, textures, and sounds. This mod is tested and works for online play in Left 4 Dead 2.
Replaces the HUD icon and Gunshop sign.
Includes Inspection animations and Holster animations.
Includes Run and Walking animations that change based on player speed.
Includes Fidget animations that play at random when idle or walking.
Includes Halo:Reach style Muzzle particles.
Includes custom scope shaders to highlight infected
Mod-a-Mod support for modders to easily create skin mods to apply to the base mod.

@128keggs they're two different versions for the same slot. this is due to the person who commissioned me wanting it that way. I do have the files setup for a Military Sniper slot later.

@Tinfoot the sniper works by highlighting models (due to a bug I discovered) that have a blank texture or any texture in the diffuse alpha channel. by default that includes all of the vanilla L4D2 commons and uncommons.

I have a private version of MonkeyRebel's flood commons mod with a blank texture in the diffuse so they appear on the scope. and I do plan to update his special infected mods to have that support for my sniper scopes.

Dunno if its just a bad interaction with the flood infected models I'm using, but only the hunter (infection form) is highlighted and none of the other infected are. The military sniper, which I was using another halo sniper mod for, wasn't highlighted either.

It's his CE inspired HUD that he is developing, though it wil be awhile until he completes it.

One of the finest among the fine C.M.T. arsenal for The Silent Cartographer: Evolved. Gotta be very mindful of that reciprocating charging handle, though.
