- Quorthon ( Vocalist of Bathory ) wanted his first album cover to be covered in gold. However the album cover looked horrible so Quorthon had to change the album into Black and White. The original cover is a now collection item called the “Yellow Goat”.

- Despite Quorthon saying “He wasn’t inspired by the band Venom.” it's very clear he was inspired by them with these tracks:

- Jonas Åkerlund was The Original Drummer from Bathory. Then later on he was producing Music Videos such as Candlemass - Bewitched to Lady Gaga - Telephone.
