More Ammo

描述
This mod doesn’t just reimagine all vanilla bullet textures—it also introduces four powerful new bullet types, each tied to a boss.

Boss-Dropped Bullets:
9x39mm PAB-9 (Dropped by Lazar): Forged through Lazar’s arcane craftsmanship, this bullet’s creation remains a closely guarded secret—known only to him. Imbued with the essence of fire crystal, it burns with a fiery intensity, though its raw power falls slightly short of pure red stone. While its penetration doesn’t rival the 9x39mm BP round, it remains a formidable runner-up, delivering devastating impact with every shot

7.62x54mm AP (Dropped by Orel): Rumors suggest Orel has mastered the art of imbuing bullets with chemical crystal energy. While it does nothing to enhance penetration, the modified 7.62x54R SNB rounds exhibit a terrifying anomaly: heightened lethality and uncanny precision—defying all conventional ballistic logic.

5.45x39mm BP (Dropped by Kibba): A born warrior, Kibba favored submachine guns but grew frustrated by their uncontrollable recoil. After selling off part of his arsenal to fund his research, he developed a unique ammunition type—infused with the essence of lightning crystals. These rounds not only drastically improve recoil control and reduce barrel wear but also carry a residual electric charge. While their damage fall-off is significantly reduced, their scarcity means even Kibba can carry only a limited supply.

7.62x51mm M993 (Dropped by Devil Watcher): Forged by Watcher's bleeding-edge technology, this ammunition harnesses the purple crystal of amethyst crystals—granting it unparalleled armor-piercing capabilities and catastrophic stopping power. Currently reserved exclusively for High Command, that is, the Devil Watcher, each round symbolizes both supreme firepower and unassailable authority within the Watcher hierarchy

Note:
• Reworked drops by Devil Watcher due to technical limitations, but maintains nearly identical functionality to original, may be.
• NEW additional drop by Devil Watcher: Christmas Grenade

Future Plans:
•Future versions will let bosses drop blueprints, allowing you to craft them yourself (with balanced drop rates).
•Add more types of ammo

@MrDerpppy Yes, I plan to add new bullets, but I have already created the calibers of bullets that these bosses use. I am hesitant to add them. I would like to allow these bosses to use bullets of different calibers, but it seems unlikely at the moment, unless the caliber of their weapons changes, which would break the original game content.

What do you think?

Any plan to add more boss-dropped bullets?
Like 5.56x45 and 7.62x39 ammo?
As i know Arman and Valentin don't have boss-dropped bullets for now.:tobdog:

wardsr2479, hey mate, this happens because the game's ammo detection logic changed after the update. Here's the manual fix (In the description)

hey man, i'm having a issue that the weapon can not sense the ammo after the patch i think, is like while i having the ammo in the inventory but when i press Y trying to swap ammo it did not show up.

Mr. J Soda, lmao my bad! Code needs 'a545x39', but the display name should be raw '5.45x39'. I forgot to trim the prefix when copying—will patch it soon! Thanks for pointing it out!

No, I'm asking about the in game part, not the code, as in game there's a "a" in front of it
DC245  [作者] 6 月 9 日 下午 3:29
Mr. J Soda, If you're asking about the game code format, then yes — ammo IDs need an ‘a’ prefix

Should the 5.45x39 caliber weapons have a "a" in front of the 545x39?
