Faction Upgrade is my series of mods aimed at improving the various factions of the Kenshi world. The mod will affect the following things:

1. Weapons and armour
2. Cities and bases
3. Units
4. Dialogues
5. Starts

The Faction Upgrade (Nomads) mod aims to improve the faction of the same name.

Changes:

Town

Both villages of the Sedentary Nomads have been transformed beyond recognition. They are now vibrant villages with fishmongers, blacksmiths, and travelling merchants. Crossbows are installed on towers for protection from uninvited guests, and tired travellers can lie down on free sleeping bags.

Large tent settlements may occasionally appear at various locations. These caravan towns have become a temporary haven for nomads, led by a headman who will tell you a bit about nomads and haggle (He is easily recognisable by the large orange backpack on his back).

Lore and dialogues

The nomads have always respected people who treat animals with dignity, and they also have great respect for brave tamers. To become your own, and earn the respect of this harsh people, keep various animals in your squad. People will react to it, which will increase your relationship with the faction.

Start

Always wanted to try the free life of a nomad? This starter has been created for you. Start as the experienced, years-wise head of a small family. Pack your belongings, your faithful bull, and hit the road. Who knows where the road will take you?

Weapons and Armour.

Added some new rag masks on faces, as well as the well-known to many cloaks of nomads (In my new colours) And most importantly - nomads got shoes! Now they are not afraid of the acid rain of the Black Desert, in which they lost their feet so often.

Weapons are mostly various daggers and clubs. Nomads are a peaceful people, but if necessary, their small blades will easily shed the blood of an offender.

I've reduced the chance of nomad camps appearing a little bit more. I've also added nomad pants (with slits on the sides), another headscarf, and a backpack for dogs

Jango I don't know, buddy, I haven't used this mod. To know for sure, need to play for a while and try it out. But I'm a little busy with the next mod right now

I try both but make a lot of shem nomads leave the village also the merchants

Jango hi, I've slightly reduced the chance of nomad cities appearing. in the Russian version of the mod, one guy complained about too many cities

i think with rescue and put down character in bed can work, but i don't know on animals

Jango they usually don't go far away, constantly returning to the wounded animal (I don't know what this is related to), but it's not a bad idea. I'll see if it's possible to implement it

it's possible to assign to the nomads caravan the ai goal to rescue their animal if their are unconscious an carry them to the near nearest nomad camp or town? Usually they just leave them in the wild
