However, the ship has also been observed operating larger VTOLs such as the Osprey as well as fixed-wing aircraft such as the Strike Hawk. Aerie class ships are lightly armed, with its only offensive weapons being a pair of 60mm cannons for self-defense and long range artillery support. Defensively, the ship is equipped with cruiser-grade armor as well as a LAMs system and torpedo interceptor batteries. WARNNING: Psionic analysis of the ship has revealed a greater than standard psionic capability, with visual sightings confirming the presence of a psionic amplifier device mounted atop the superstructure. This is supported by further reports that the Aeries commonly acts a flagship or key relay node for the AF control network.
