I did not make the "Little Bird" Chopper but it's one of my favorites of all time.

I created a Delivery Vehicle for it so I could deploy it all around Kerbin.
There are 3 Launch Sequences programmed into K1000's. The Point of Reference is the Space Center.
> The Tut-Un Jeb-Ahn Temple
> The Crashed Flying Saucer Site
> And a "Pick-A- Radian" Orbit.
To use the Action Groups turn SAS and RCS to ON and go full Throttle, then just press a key, the only thing a Player needs do is rotate to Retrograde after separation.
.... OR ....
Just change a value in one line of the "Pick-A-Radian" K1000 and it will dial in any Radian for you from +180 deg. to -180 deg.
From these low Kerbin orbits setting up maneuvers that put you 30K over your target will get you close.

* Example Airfield Vectors *
> Woomerang @-116 deg.
> Desert Airfield @ +173 deg.
** Point of Reference is The Space Center. The Poles are at offset 90 Deg. because when I create I always put the Plane that the Planets are on @ 0.
I'm like the Pilgrims in the Movie Wing Commander.
The North Pole is @ -90 degrees, South Pole @ +90 degrees.
** There's also an Action Group to deploy the Little Bird.
*** The PREFERRED method of switching control over to the Little Bird after manually un-docking it, is VIA the Map.

1-landing lights
2-back engne. after 60m/s trust lever to 0
if flying without passengers turn off one engine
3-Strobe lights
