2008 Maps Expansion Pack

EXPANSION PACKS. They're cool, they're awesome, they're a fun way to add to a game and sometimes (including this one) at no additional price to the consumer! They're an absolute relic of "the olden days" back when games came on CDs for Computers. Well, nowadays, we have digital downloads, but we still have the classic maps from the days of yore to enjoy and have a blast on yet again.

There are TEN awesome maps for you to enjoy in this expansion pack:
- ctf_aerospace, a Standard Capture the Flag map set on a mountainside where RED and BLU are training their ace pilots up to become war heroes!

- cp_boulder, a 3-Stage Attack / Defense map that's sort of an 'alternate take' on the typical Dustbowl experience, having those same charming chokepoints to break but with an all-new layout to destroy and thrive in!

- cp_busytown, a Symmetrical 5CP map and a remake of TF2's very first custom map: Lazytown! Complete with new routing to make games more dynamic and interesting, as well as a refreshed artpass!

- ctf_convoy, a Standard CTF map inspired by an Unreal Tournament level and a map that has withstood the test of time as one of the coolest maps ever created! (Including being the map that inspired HELLTRAIN!)

- ctf_cruise, a Standard CTF map set on a cruise ship. It's unknown how both RED and BLU manage to co-own a cruise ship, but one thing's for sure: ain't nobody is going to want to miss a dip in the pool at mid.

- pl_halfacre, a Standard PL map set in the blazingly hot desert of The Devil's Half-Acre.

- arena_mach, an Arena map set in the lush and lower forested mountainsides that Lumberyard calls home. It's small, but that only means the action is even MORE fast-paced!

- tc_meridian, a new take on Territory Control that utilizes FLAGS instead of your everyday Control Points. On the final stages, one team protects the flag and the other tries to steal it!

- cp_oilfield, a Symmetrical 3CP map that was the originator of classic 3CP design before Powerhouse ever crossed the minds of regular players.

- pl_timbermill, a 3-Stage Payload map chock-full of chokes and tight spaces for you to blast your way through with your mercenary friends! Why not try throwing some people into the sawblades around the map? ;)

(The workshop doesn't support .zip files like this, so we had to throw in a familar face as the actual "subscription" thing.)
