81-710 Еж3 РУ1 (Ezh3 RU1 for Metrostroi Subway Simulator)

Subway cars type Ezh3 were developed in the USSR in the early 1970s as an evolution of the Ezh model. These cars were manufactured by Mytishchi Machine Building Plant (MMZ) from 1973 to 1977. After 35 years of service life, modernization of these cars was necessary. Due to the lack of funding, it was decided to carry out a capital repair, during which many systems were replaced, with the further extension of the service life for 15 years.

The modernized cars received the designation Ezh3 RU1 (“rushniki” in the jargon of metro employees). They were delivered to the Moscow Metro in 2004. They were actively operated on the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line both with the modernized intermediate cars of EM508T RU1 type and in trains together with non-modernized cars Ezh3/Em508t. Despite the gradual obsolescence of the technology, the Ezh3RU1 cars remained in service until 2020, becoming an important part of the history of the Soviet and Russian subway construction.

In the year of the 90th anniversary of the Moscow Metro, the development team offers you to enjoy a ride on this type of rolling stock for Garry's Mod - Metrostroi. It cost us a lot of effort to realize this megaproject.
