This mod alters the background of the Character Editor menu.

It's a screen that we end up staring at a lot, trying to create the perfect character. Or maybe you just adjust a couple sliders and move on with your life. Either way, you gotta interact with the Character Editor from time to time. You know. Whether it be the New Game menu, the Plastic Surgeon, or just a new generic hire that you can actually edit, you're gonna see this particular screen a lot.

So I figured hey, why not come up with a few different backgrounds for people to use depicting various interesting Kenshi world locations, rather than the default art which is kind of ugly and lifeless?

I took these screenshots at 1440p, on my fairly well-modded copy of Kenshi, with ReShade using what I think is a custom preset. So, if you aren't using ReShade, all these images might look a bit more saturated than you're used to. If you are using ReShade, it'll probably look more saturated than for other people, depending on your preset, but you probably want to toggle them off during character creation anyway for various reasons.

I don't really know what to say about this one, it just simply looked good to me and here we are.

And if you don't like this one, check out this collection and see if one of the others I made appeals to you instead:

Might be the one thing I didn't do. I'll look into it if I can remember to do so...

Hi I noticed your background shots, they are great and add life to the game, would you consider making pictures of the huge stars in the sky at twilight time, they are often seen when flipping through the desert!
