The Five Railway Engines

On May 12, 1945, something would happen that would change the life of Wilbert Awdry forever. His son had caught measles, and was bedridden. And to pass the time Wilbert told him stories, one of which was the rhyme “Down by the Station.” At some point Wilbert made a little drawing to go with this rhyme, only for his son, Christopher to ask why the engine in the middle was sad. Awdry explained that the engine had not been let out of the sheds in a long time, only for Christopher to ask another question: “What is the engine's name?” Wilbert replied with the first name to come to his head: “Edward”

And the rest is history...

Anyways enough about that dramatic story, your here to see the trains.

This pack (though a little late) is meant to commemorate the 80th anniversary of “The Railway Series”, and its television adaptation “Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends.” This pack contains the titular “Three Railway Engines” as well as two of the newer characters from the sequel book “Thomas the Tank Engine.” These engines are designed to look mostly toy like (Based on Bassett Lowke locos) and are scaled to TS, making them one of the few Thomas themed TS engines on the workshop! The UVS and textures for these Engines are simplistic but manageable so you can re-skin these easily. Anyways, now for the contents

Anyways, that's it for these Locos, still planning on adding a couple of more engines from the Later books (Percy, Toby, Duck, Henry MKII, etc) But for now we've got five of the main 10 engines from the Fat controller's railway.
