Tweaks to Skeletons from my Races Rebalanced mod.

These changes only affect the Skeleton subrace, and do not affect the other subraces (P4 Unit, Soldierbot, etc.).
For changes affecting the misc playable races (P4 Units, Soldierbots, and South Hivers), check here.

This is only a part of my mod that adjusts all of the base playable races. For the full mod affecting all races, check here.

CHANGES


Skeletons
  • Stomach Hit Chance increased to 140 (from 80)
  • Chest/Stomach/Limbs HP nerfed to 175 (from 200)
  • Bleed Rate nerfed to 0.5x (from 0.1x)
  • Heal Rate nerfed to 1.5x (from 2.0x)
  • Crossbows and Toughness XP multipliers buffed to 1.2x (from 1.0x)
Hit Chances changed to be universal. Skeletons do outperform Shek in melee combat in vanilla endgame - see the attached video (credit to FrankieWuzHere). Vanilla Skeletons overperform in general, in my opinion - they have a massive amount of health and are too hard to kill, even when they lose a fight. These nerfs mainly aim to address their combat strength, while still attempting to maintain Skeletons’ identity as a resilient race (though partially nerfing that aspect, too). Toughness XP is buffed to match the resilience of Skeletons. Crossbows XP is buffed to match the Turrets XP buff. Skeletons still outperform Shek with these changes and are still the best race, in my opinion. Use my Skeletons Neutered mod if you want them to be a bit weaker. I recommend this mod to increase their spawn rates with these changes.
