Helios Explorer 2 [RE2]

New: Added science station and 2 Telepads for teleporting from the back of the ship to the front and vice/versa. Telepads will need to be easily programmed before use.

This Level 25, Complexity 15, core 7, version of Jrandall’s Helios RE2 carrier has been modified, re-sized, and updated to be cheaper but with more thrust for a better beginning Helios modular carrying experience. Can carry over 24 kilotons at 1g. 2 Advanced RCSs added for more torque.

This will need much more thrust, CPU, and Generation as soon as possible. Replace Ion thrust with upgraded Plasma or even better Antimatter drives when available. Rear thrust will be most important for obtaining Warp speed.

Advanced warp, Standard shield, and Mobile teleporter are provided. An “Enhanced” teleporter will be very helpful toward end of game.

4 Enhanced Matter Transceivers have been placed farther apart for better extended remote management.

Storage is geared toward Ammunition and all supplies can be distributed among ALL of your ships with less searching required. There is 1X320k Ammunition controller, 4X320k controllers for ammunition distribution, 5 cargo boxes for all your personal weapons, 5 cargo boxes for trading organization, 2 boxes for boosters/suits, 2 for building supplies, 2 for Fuel/oxygen and Pentaxid, and 4 fridges for food distribution.

This has 5 bays which is more than I need for a single player experience. There are more than enough modules available that will suit your needs.

Because this is TRULY a portable base away from home, this should always be left near the sun for safety purposes. Only Standard shield provided for “accidents”. BE WARNED!!

There is a ramp provided for upper level to lower level transfer of HVs to keep upper deck clear.
