Hydra Species - WH3

"Hydra are made malleable by the mutating power of Chaos. In addition, the Druchii have owned Hydra for countless years, creating new subspecies through the arts of crossbreeding and the casting of dark incantations."

This Mod currently adds 4 new subspecies of Hydra for you to sink your teeth into, I have ideas for possibly 1 more and a Beastmaster Apprentices unit.

This mod was originally made as a part of the January 2021 Modding Jam, but Hydra's have always been a favourite of mine.




Veteran War Hydra "The Claws of Khaine"

Royal War Hydra "Malekith's Chosen"

• Acid Breath
  
• Acid Blood

Chameleon Skinned Hydra "The Shadows of Anath Raema"

• Serpent's Eye
  
• Chameleon Skinned
  
• Mirror Image
  
• Built for the Hunt

Spellthirster "Rakarth's Vendetta"

• Magically Infused Breath
  
• Daerlythe’s Aura
  
• Chosen of the Convent
  
• Stunted Regeneration

Why you ask? Simply because i don't like the idea of my Hydras replacing the normal War Hydras and the Kharibdyss, the Hydras are meant to supplement your armies not be the entirety of them.

• The "Titanic Beasts" Skill for High Beastmasters provides +1 Cap for each variant of these Hydras.
  
• Rakarth has a more potent version of this, his "Breeding Programmes" skill provides +1 cap for each variant aside from Veteran Hydras who get +2.
  
• Rakarths Innate Trait "Beastlord" provides +1 Cap for Spellthirster Hydra.
  
• The Hydrablade ancillary now provides + 1 Cap for Veteran War Hydra

• Veteran War Hydra - Recruited from T2 Beasts Chain +0 Cap
  
• Veteran War Hydra - Recruited from The Lairs of Clar Karond Landmark +3 Cap
  
• Veteran War Hydra - Forsaken Port of Nagronath +1 Cap
