Opis
History
The L-3 Class was developed for service inland and on rivers during the early 1920s. Its small size and its fuel efficient diesel engine allows it to go 8 knots at full speed when unloaded allowed most of the L-3 fleet to survive the Great Depression. This was also enhanced by the low amount of crew needed to operate the vessel. The L-3 was a very important vessel in the development of ports in the rivers of the American and a select few were commissioned as armed tugs in early WWII. The Whitney, this vessel, would go on to be one of these armed tugs where she would sink off the coast of Nova Scotia with all hands lost.

Operations
  • Enter the engine room And turn on the key labeled "Engine Electrics."
  • Open the Air intake valves on the side of the engine. There are 4.
  • Start the compressors and turn on the button labeled "Priming Motor."
  • Once the RPM of the engine reaches 120 AND both compressor tanks are >10psi a light will turn on.
  • When the light "Primed" is on, turn on ignition and the coolant systems.
  • Throttle the engine to you're desired value and then hit the button labeled "Engage Gear."
  • Leave the engine room and Throttle the clutch to full.

Notes
  • If the engine isn't starting, double check the air valves.
  • This ship and its history is fictional.
  • This is the civilian variant of the L-3 and the armed variant can be found on my page.
  • Let me know of any existing issues in the ship.
