Adds new dialogue options to Bara, allowing you to receive helpful items right after the intro – perfect for a light New Game Plus experience.


Baras’ Gifts– New Game Plus Light adds several item sets and other nice goodies to the first conversation with our beloved beggar Bara.

Shortly after the prologue – the moment the world truly opens up – you can speak to Bara and choose from new dialogue options to receive useful weapons, armor and even level ups. These are normally obtained only much later in the game, making this a perfect "New Game Plus Light" experience for returning players or those who want a smoother early game.

Visiting Bara at a later time, or activating this mod in the middle of the playthrough will not activate these talking points.



New Features

- Charisma Outfit added as a new item choice
- Level-Up Choice added – gain a level-up based on your selection

Fixes

- Fixed an issue where the shortsword from the "Shortsword and Shield" choice did not appear in the inventory
- You can now properly back out of the dialogue tree and re-enter it without needing to reload





What You Get:

- A selection of weapons
- Choose between one early/mid game armor set, noblemans clothes or the red/white Jester Outfit (early state of the mod. Many more sets will follow)
- Level Up Henry, his stats and all of his Perks to 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30.
- 1000 Groschen instead of 5
- 5 lockpicks instead of 1
- All items are optional via dialogue choices

Key Features:

- No cheats or console needed
- Fully optional: take only what you want

When & Where:

After the intro sequence, once the game world becomes open, find Bara and talk to her. New options will be available under a new dialog path.


IMPORTANT:
The current version lets you pick one Item/Collection of each category.

Many sets and further implementations for named NPC's equipments may follow.

Compatibility

Compatible with most other mods unless they directly modify Bara's dialogue.
Does not overwrite any vanilla scripts.
Safe to install mid-playthrough, as long as the intro is complete.


Permissions

This mod is free to use. Feel free to modify for personal use or include in larger modpacks, as long as credit is given. Do not reupload without permission.
