Phalanx Class Corvette (FPRN)

After having analyzed combat data while fighting pirate threats, FPR determined that a purpose-built anti-fighter platform would be needed for future military endeavors. After years of development plagued by setbacks and delays, the Phalanx Class corvette was constructed to fill this role. It's impressive Point Defense proved vital in defending the larger ships in the fleet, though its extremely light and cheap rendered it extremely vulnerable to heavier weaponry.

This ship was designed for use on the Prototype PVP server! It is fairly survival friendly minus its subgrid turrets. It is also Keen server friendly, both with and without its subgrid turrets! It is equipped with 2 Quad-barreled assault cannon turrets, 6 Triple-barreled gatling PDCs, and 2 static artillery. She is also capable of 1g flight with some mild difficulty.
