The Clone Wars rage across the galaxy. The planet Carida has not been spared by the war. The Republic set up a communications complex on this planet, given its strategic position in the galaxy. The Separatists discovered the planet and launched a raid. Sector A-18 has a communications outpost near a village, and is now totally controlled by the Separatists.
