Auric Arsenal: Golden Knight Reskin Collection

This mod (with Variant Selector) gives The Golden Knight a variety of looks. This mod was originally going to be released alongside another mod that featured a male version of The Golden Knight, with model and voice changes, but I find myself too busy with a massive project (outside of WH3) these days that the mod resurrecting the father of Naryska Leysa is on indefinite hold.

But I didn't want to have all my work go to waste!

I've toned down the yellowness of the gold armor and removed the Cathay style pauldrons. Glowing effects have been toned down across the board or converted to solid gold. The Golden Knight's horse, both the vanilla version and the modded version put out by Dead Baron, have had the same treatment done to their textures so the gold tones match.

The size of the sword, Ursun's Claw, has been reworked to be a more traditional sword size fit for the finesse of a dueling knight, and the textures too have been adjusted so it's more like an ice blessed rune blade that's still made of steel instead of purely ice.

If you switch to any of the completely de-iced skins of Naryska, the sword will accordingly lose any glow and the pommel replaced with a gold skull.

The mod also features a fair amount of half-helm variants as well some color/hair style variants with white fur that give her a closer visual relationship with the Ice Guard, all for a grand total of 9 Golden Knight variants.

The 9th variant is a version of the reskin put out by GHS, if you want to use that variant, you must be subscribed to his mod and have his mod BELOW this one, that way textures will load correctly. Proper load order is also shown in the preview wheel.

Variant Selector is required, without it whatever variant of the GK you get in campaign will be randomized without your choice. In Custom Battle, with or without Variant Selector, the default variant of the GK is the one in the first screenshot.

There is a minor delay in portrait/porthole changes whenever you switch variants, and occasionally the sword and shield will go black for some variants upon switching, it will return to normal after reloading the save/fighting a battle.

Credit to Stratovarius for doing a half-face Golden Knight way before the official model came out and Dead Baron for his splendid horse armor, and many, many thanks to Marthenil for spotting a very subtle issue behind the scenes. Also credit to GHS for his wonderful, full faced gloriously golden maned GK reskin, of which I have made compatible with this mod.
