描述
Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door. “
“'Tis some visitor,” I muttered, “tapping at my chamber door—
Only this, and nothing more.”

Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's 'The Raven.'

This room is best for 1-2 players.
Sound is required.

It was such a scary room. Even with five of us playing, it took two hours. It was so much fun!

Hey! Me and a friend played through this room, and we ran into issue regarding the tarot cards. There seems to be 2 IV cards, and we did not indeed catch that issue until we checked the walkthrough and restarted. You should check the numbering of the cards if possible. Otherwise, solid room, hitboxes were wonky at a couple places but we managed just fine. :)

Nice room. I experienced a bit of the glitchiness in clicking things like previously mentioned, but it wasn't game-breaking, so it was easy to move past it. I think my only real criticism is the voice reading the poetry is a bit off-putting, like way too artificial, but if that's all you have access to, that makes sense. Solid room otherwise, though!

@vincaminor42 The poems from the room were written by me to mimic the style of The Raven but give the room an actual storyline. And yes, some of those hit boxes are really weird. I tried to fix the issue pre-release with some colliders, but that still didn't work for some reason? I'm no expert roommaker by any means. I make these for fun but have no idea what I'm doing half the time. Sorry for any glitches!

@Jenie I'm glad you guys liked it. I'll try to make the clue for how to use the decoder more noticeable.

Cool room! I did this with my friend at midnight and i definitely got so scared. Took us both around 1 hr... I CANT FULLY REMEMBER. Honestly I am new to Escape Simulator and this is the first community map I've doe. Super cool clues and everything. LOWKEY I do not think any human on earth would get the decoder/locked chest thingy. Like how would you know to shove that ♥♥♥♥♥ clockwise much less 6 spaces counter clockwise. :/ RLLY?!

The hit boxes for a few items are a bit wonky - I had to click around a fair bit to get the decoder ring to come into focus, and it wasn't until I checked the walkthrough that I even realized the shapes box in the dresser was obtainable - when I hovered over it from all but the exact right pixels it just showed me the option to close the drawer

Also what poem is read during this room? It's similar to The Raven, but not actually the real poem?
