Westland Sea King Mk42 and Mk45 MOD
Mod Number: 3473957351

This mod adds the Indian Navy's Westland Sea King Mk42 and Pakistan Navy's Westland Sea King Mk45 to Sea Power.

The Sea King is a British licence-built version of the American Sikorsky S-61 helicopter of the same name, built by Westland Helicopters and in use by the Indian Naval Air Arm since 1971 and Pakistan Navy's since 1975.

The mod features the following versions:

** Indian Navy **

- Sea King Mk42 (ASW) - Indian Naval Air Squadron (INAS) 330, ‘Harpoon’
Equipped with a MEL ARI-5995 surface search radar (max Range: 92.6 km) radome mounted on the rotorcraft's spine, behind the engines, a HS 12 Dipping Sonar (Max Range: abt 5.6 km) and 2 Mk44 torpedoes (operational range abt 5.5 km, maximum speed 30 knots)

- Sea King Mk42B (ASW and Anti-ship) - Indian Naval Air Squadron (INAS) 330, ‘Harpoon’
The Mk.42B version is used by the Indian Navy both in ASW, with Italian A.244 (known as NST58 in the Indian Navy) and anti-ship role with the integration of a Super Searcher surface search radar (max range: 370 km) and 2 Sea Eagle medium-weight sea-skimming anti-ship missiles (max range about 111 km).

- Sea King Mk42C (Transport) - Indian Naval Air Squadron (INAS) 350
The Mk42C is the troop transport and SAR version of the Mk42 (no weapons).

** Pakistan Navy **

- Sea King Mk45 (ASW and Anti-ship) - No.111 Squadron, 'Sharks'
This version features the MEL ARI-5995 surface search radar and can carry up to 4 Mk46 torpedoes or up to 2 Exocet anti-ship missiles.

- Sea King Mk45A (ASW and Anti-ship) - No.111 Squadron 'Sharks'
The Mk45A is a former Royal Navy's HAS.Mk 5 (equipped with a Sea Searcher radar) purchased in 1986 as a replacement for a MK45 ditched at sea.

Important (about mods and mods use):

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that mods can break early access games.
Jane Austen

This mod has been tested and is running perfectly on my computer (i7-11800H @ 2.30 Ghz - 16 GB RAM - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050) with no other mod enabled. However, since they are as many computer configurations than computer users, it's unfortunately impossible to guarantee it will work on yours.
Be aware that by installing mods for Sea Power, you are modifying your game experience from the original intended product which is (at the time of publication of this mod) still in EARLY ACCESS. Therefore, later game updates/patches may cause this mod to be deprecated. Although it is unlikely, the presence of other enabled mods might cause conflicts, and the more enable mods on your computer, the greater the chance of conflict. So, to sum it up, USE MODS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
If you wish to clean uninstal this mod make sure to follow these steps: 1) Uncheck this mod in the mod manager. 2) Click on Accept. 3) Unsubscribe. Then make sure the mod's file is no longer in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1286220 folder.
