描述
Striders really tore the hell out of this place...
While evacuating from City 17, Gordon Freeman and the rebels are faced down by a particularly persistent Strider.

Features

- Takes place in City 17 during the Citadel's meltdown
- Difficult, fast paced map
- Dodge the Strider while trying to escape
- Fight the Combine alongside Rebel companions

Background and thoughts

This is the third in a series of four singleplayer maps I started and left unfinished in 2022, each with a unique color, theme and approach to gameplay. This map was "red, city, boss fight". My least favourite so far. For anyone struggling, patience is key.

like so many ppl said, is hard, but fun, full of action! , it has great atmosphere and ambience, i love ruined cities, looks so cool.
there's med packs and batteries everywhere so you are not going to die , if ur good.
the only thing i don't like is companions, in general thats a pretty weak side of the AI of HL , i love being alone and have companions annoying me , is boring.

But... the mod in general is great, very solid... i give it a 7

Super cool, I love Strider-focused encounters. However, could use more cover spots and less supply crates, as they don't really make up for the lost health when frantically looking for somewhere to hide. Very fun though man good work

Incredibly fun campaign, dodging and weaving between cover to avoid the striders pulse cannon was heart pumping and adrenaline inducing. I do wish we would've gotten the crossbow earlier though, having to shoot soldiers from afar with the AR2 is, while doable, is not really ideal (And the place where the crossbow is located is kind of a dick move to place it there).

this map is awesome as its one of the few maps that actualy made me do the R.T.S's as i like *fully clearnig maps out of combines so it made me think of spots where i could kill soldiers while not getting shot by the strider

(unless im weaponless, veichle "race" section or if they infinitly respawn*)

I agree with Gabriel ML's review of this mod: There should be some tweaking need to be done on the last battle with the strider. It felt too easy and the RPG crate needs to be moved somewhere easier to access.
However, if I have anything to suggest, you could be creative by placing wood crates filled with RPG ammo around the arena so it gives the player a challenge against the strider.
Overall, the mod is pretty good and I like that the player's safety is immediately blown away once the strider finds you.
