If you like the idea of having an OP mod, perhaps release an alternative version with harder recipes and rebalanced stats?

I do think these weapons are a bit OP. They can be crafted with a lot less skill levels than vanilla weapons, one-shot everything even at 0 weapon skill, and are quite durable too.

I wouldn't drastically change anything, just lower damage to vanilla-equivalent weapons, reduce durability a tiny bit, and increase crafting skill requirement by 2-4 levels.

crazy that i can wrap a broom with barbed wire but not a baseball bat or club in vanilla build 42 😭😭😭

Very nice weapons speccialy the guts sword me favorite, but i think is very easy to craft just level 1 on maintenance is so easy at least idk 3-5 level:steamthis::steamhappy:

Only a suggestion since some of these can easily be crafted, make it so you have to be level 3 or 4 in the right skill to get some of these going. Maintenance and Carpentry are not hard at all which is why i'm saying that

Weapons are very good, but some of them are too strong. Simple production brings unparalleled power, and some of them upset the balance. In short, I hope mod is better.

i like the idea, but i feel like the weapons are too good for their value, and the fact you ONLY need MAINTENANCE level *1* for ALL of the crafts is too busted.
Considering you need level 8 welding for a scrap metal SWORD in base game, i dont think someone who only has a bit of maintenance knowledge would know how to make a katana 😭
HOWEVER, xp gains are balanced. you did good on those.
