SIG Sauer SIG516, an AR-15 variant produced by SIG Sauer based on the piston system instead of direct impingement. Basically a poor man's budget HK416. Modelled from scratch by yours truly. This particular SIG516 features a 14.5 inch barrel, marketed as a "Tactical Patrol" model.

Introduced in 2010, the SIG516 is a family of rifles designed by SIG Sauer Inc in the USA based on the AR-15 platform. Unlike traditional AR-15, the SIG516 uses a piston system instead of direct impingement, much similar to how the HK416 works. But in contrast, the SIG516 has more interchangeable parts with other AR variants.
SIG516 comes in two generations, and in 4 different barrel lengths: 16 inch (Patrol), 14.5 inch (Tactical Patrol), 10 inch (CQB) and 7.5 inch (PDW). This rifle had since been discontinuted by SIG Sauer in 2019.
