Cassette Beasts – Sticker Fusion Enhanced Mod[github.com]

Merge sticker attributes instead, upgrading them in exchange for a higher markup cost.
  • It does not alter base gameplay.
  • It is safe to add or remove from existing saves.
  • It is also compatible with other mods.

➕Merge Attributes

Combine two sticker values — Base and Source — into a single upgraded one.
  • The system keeps the higher value.
  • The lower value is scaled by a diminishing returns formula:

Upgrades should still stay balanced as they approach their maxed-out stats.

Result = Higher + (Lower * (1 - Higher / Max)) * Rate

💰Scaling Cost

Upgrades cost more as they get closer to their maxed-out stats.
  • Additional Cost is determined on how close the result is to the attribute’s Max and its Rarity:

AdditionalCost = 100 * (Result / Max) * Rarity

Then it's divided into 20-unit intervals and halved for smoother scaling:

BaseCost += AdditionalCost / Interval * 0.5

❓ FAQ

Why does my game crash whenever I open the Sticker Fusion Menu?

✔️ This issue has been fixed in the latest version (v1.1). Please update the mod before following the steps below.

If you're still experiencing issues, it might be related to the translation file within the mod. Try the following options:

Option 1:
  • In the Workshop Settings, disable all other mods except this one.
  • Launch the game and open the Sticker Fusion Menu.
  • If the game doesn’t crash, re-enable the other mods one by one.
  • If it still crashes, proceed to Option 2.

Option 2:
  • In the Workshop Settings, unsubscribe from all other mods except this one.
  • Launch the game and open the Sticker Fusion Menu.
  • If the game doesn’t crash, resubscribe to the other mods one at a time.
  • If it still crashes, download the no_translation[github.com] version.

Can confirm it crashes when you open the fusion menu while you have Sticker Manager, which sucks, bc without that, the filter is practically unusable.

What's the difference between this and Sticker Fusion Upgrade?
Is it just how it decides the new value?

Conflicts with Sticker Manager and crashes the game when opening fusion menu.

@Target Thanks for the troubleshooting help! The issue seems to be caused by this mod's translation file. I'm still not sure why it's happening, even though the setup appears to be correct. Possibly a loading hierarchy issue?

Installed this after having a few other mods installed and when I opened up the sticker fusion menu it would crash my game. Uninstalled all my mods and enabled this one to make sure it worked by itself and it did. Added my other mods one by one to check which one conflicted and ended up with all my mods loaded without any crashes. Weird, but maybe could help anyone running into the same issue.

Yes I'm on W11, but I did encounter the crash once during live testing.

I have a hunch on what might cause the problem. Could you try using the no translation version here instead?

though quick update, it also didn't work for my partner - he's on endeavouros (arch-based linux) and i'm on ubuntu; if you're using windows then that might be the reason?

@Cruithulhu. I have both mods installed. I even have a lot installed. It shouldn't be in conflict.

The only mod that will crash it is if you have another copy of this somewhere installed or still have NCrafter's Sticker Fusion Upgrade.

- Try clean uninstalling mods
- Run the game
- Quit
- Reinstall mods
