La Antigua

Welcome!

La Antigua is my entry for the Compact Comp 2. First of all, this entry uses A LOT of vegetation, so it's recommended to run it on a decent computer. Second, I hope you enjoy exploring and playing with it as much as I've had fun creating it.

Basically, this is a fictional station situated near the Payares Ramp. There is (half) a town next to it with some... secrets. ;)

La Antigua was built in 1884, along with the known Rampa de Pajares (Payares Ramp), a unique engineering marvel in Asturias, Spain. The line in which La Antigua is located, the León-Gijón, was built by the Caminos de Hierro de Asturias, Galicia y León and then transfered to Norte in 1885.

Thanks to this railway, the little town of La Antigua has grown and expanded with time, and the station has always stayed there, almost intact.

1. THE KEY:
The station had a room dedicated to signalling, but due to new technology, it was abandoned. However, they say that the key to enter that room is still out there. Can you find it?

2. THE MEMORIAL:
There is a memorial dedicated to a known trainspotter who recently died, including a QR code linking to his YouTube channel.

Fun fact: I just discovered there is a village IRL also called "La Antigua" in León. What a coincidence!
