• I so wanted to create a non-serious map. And I created this map.

A player was fond of zombie apocalypse games, but one map changed his life. It not only simulated survival but also plunged him into despair.
He became addicted to in-game drugs that gave him a sense of security. Reality blurred: he started seeing zombies in real life, his room turned into a dump, and his fridge was empty.
He began mixing up the game with reality, carrying a flashlight and a machete, checking doors. One day, police found him surrounded by a syringe and a map printout.
Therapy helped him: he limited his gaming time and started attending support groups. Now he helps others who have fallen into addiction.
“In the game, you can die and respawn, but your real life won’t get any easier,” he says.
His story is a warning that addiction to the virtual world can be dangerous. Sometimes you need to turn off the game to start living.
