EARLY ALERT: This Juggler Tank variant is marked as High Threat


This is another tank variant of "Juggler Tank", & probably categorized as "Hehe" variant as well (at least you must have ever met this kind of tank when playing maps created by "Hehe" author) :D . & this one throws a car.


B: "Ok, now this starts to become crazy..."
A: "Hehehehe... Well, this is just a request... Probably this is the only dangerous Juggler Tank..."
B: "Probably, huh..."
A: "Yeah... Probably... Hehehehehe..."


List of features available on "juggler tank - car thrower.txt" cfg file:
  1. Tank Variant Spawn Chance: The spawn chance of "Juggler Tank". Max value = 100 (100% chance).

  2. Car Throw Cooldown: The cooldown of each car throw. Minimum value is 5 (one car throw every 5 seconds).


Mechanisms of "Juggler Tank - Car Thrower":
  • When a tank spawns, depending on "Tank Variant Spawn Chance", he'll be registered as "Juggler Tank". A notification will show up when "Juggle Tank" spawns.

  • This "Juggler Tank" has black skin.

  • "Juggler Tank" will start to throw a car every certain seconds based on "Car Throw Cooldown".

  • The thrown car has randomized color, & will disappear automatically in 5 seconds after thrown.

  • The thrown car has shorter range than when tank punches a car, & the throw velocity is also slower so survivors still have a chance to avoid.

  • Tips for survivors: The farther you stay away from tank, the safer you are. If you're too close, try to run to areas where there are obstacles so that there's a chance that the thrown car will hit the obstacles & you can escape safely. But if there's no obstacle, keep praying that the car is thrown at a direction that you can still avoid it :D .

  • Tips for tank: Look at the closest survivor so you can throw a car to incapacitate him/ her.".


So, when you see a Shadow Tank, get ready to run!!


NOTES:
  • The skin color of "Juggler Tank" might be different when this mod is used together with "Super Tanks" mod (whether the skin of this mod will override one on "Super Tank" or vice versa, depending on the position of the mods in Addon Menu), but the "Boomer Throw" ability won't disappear & will be active together with other ability from "Super Tanks" instead (in other words, increased difficulty).

@Kали , the cfg file is created the first time you play Singleplayer or host a local server with this mod. It's located in "Left 4 Dead 2/left4dead2/ems/". Search a folder with the name similar to this mod.

@Critas , it's possible to add a special dynamic light to slightly brighten area around the Juggler Tank. Probably I can add a feature to enable a special dynamic light later.

@Hitsuga , you can try to set different values on "Tank Variant Spawn Chance". "Grenadier Tank" also has a cfg file with this feature.

actually I mean them both but spawn randomly. Is it possible?

@Hitsuga , what did you mean by "combine"? If you want both tank variants to spawn, you can try to change the "Tank Variant Spawn Chance". I haven't tested further, but if you set the same value on "Tank Variant Spawn Chance" on both "Car Thrower" & "Grenadier Tank", there's a chance that the spawning tank variant will be the fusion of both "Car Thrower" & "Grenadier Tank".

@(^^^) Xeno , the moment when you win a car & it's delivered to you but you're not happy at all :steamhappy:

@RpgBlaster , it would look fun & crazy too, but unfortunately, for some reasons witch can't be thrown as velocity can't affect witch at all.
