[Stalemate] Patriot-V

Stalemate is a weapon project derived from Frontlines and my multiple ancient Vanilla+ Weapons packs, basically just Frontlines with post-1945 weapon 'power level' with a new balancing scale. Not recommended for use with Frontlines as some guns may seem OP and some may seem weak, but you do you. This also lets me make whatever era I want.

One issue I make with projects is delaying the inevitable, refusing to make a generic, generalist weapon. Not this time. Here is the generic, generalist Patriot. Ravash-44 probably when I get back from vacation.

This mod contains the Patriot-V, the most modern variant of the Patriot in widespread service, equipped with iron sights. Ditching the side rails for weight savings and using a shorter barrel, this variant is very lightweight, allowing its users to carry more ammunition. It also has a rather high fire rate, allowing for good close-ranged performance compared to other assault rifles, rivaling even some SMGs. However, it is not exceptional in the stopping power department; even headshots past a certain distance will leave your target practically on life support, but alive. It isn't the best Patriot at long range, hint hint.

Historical Section: This is on the HK416 assault rifle, a German derivative of the M16 platform with some improvements. Because it's just a generic 5.56mm assault rifle, I didn't make it anything flashy, even in-game. The stock Patriot fires disappointingly slow and base game Ravenfield's projectile speed is comically slow [~300 "speed", assumedly in meters per second, for the stock Patriot], so both of those are rectified in this mod and in Stalemate in general. I thought it was pretty fun to make, hope you guys enjoy it.
