LVT(A)-1 by Uncle T

My version of the LVT(A)-1: Landing Vehicle Tracked (Armored) Mark 1 Infantry Support LVT.

The LVT(A) -1 was the first infantry support LVT. With the first experience of Pacific amphibious operations it was clear heavier firepower than the usual .50 in guns was needed. Based on the LVT-2, A standing for 'armored', this fire support version had a hull with 12 mm (0.47 in) plate on the bow, cab and turret and 6 mm (0.24 in) of armor elsewhere. It was fitted with a turret nearly identical to that of the Light Tank M3, with a 37 mm Gun M6 in an M44 mount and coaxial 0,30-inch machine gun. Two more 0.30-inch machine guns on ring mounts on the rear deck behind the turret, 509 units were produced.

These vehicles were intended to provide fire support to the assaulting Marines in the early stages of establishing a beachhead. It was common, however, for the LVT(A)s to commence firing whilst still in the water.

It had a crew of 6: Driver, assistant driver/radio operator, two rear machine gunners, gunner/loader and commander. However due to huge guns and Bob being a thicc boi there's only room for a combined commander/gunner in the turret.

Since the driver already uses both regular controls and Alt controls for travelling in water I made the commander control the turret and guns.

Throughout the war, a total of 509 units were produced.

Since there is no occlusion of water in the game sadly the interior is flooded quite badly while at sea, but I didn't want it to float on top of the water but at a more realistic depth so it is what it is.

CONTROLS
Driver's seat
On land
W/S: Variable persistent throttle. Works backwards and forwards. Use manual gearbox for more control. / Regular throttle. *
A/D: Steering.
Spacebar: Handbrake/brake. Use this as regular brake too.
L / Headlights: Lights.
K / Hazard Lights: Switch between persistent throttle and regular throttle. *
B / Beacon: Bilge pump, used to pump water out of the cargo area.
Left/Right Arrows: Rotate periscope.
Camera 1: Periscope.

In water
ALT + W/S: Water thrusters, forwards and backwards. **
ALT + A/D: Water steering.

* IMPORTANT! When switching, make sure the engine is as close to idle (1,000 rpm) as possible to avoid issues.
** I tried using hidden propellers but it didn't work for a couple of reasons so I had to resort to thrusters yet again.

Commander's/Gunner's seat
Alt + Arrow Keys or Mouse: Aim main 37 mm gun.
Fire action 1 / Num 1: Fire main gun. Reload time about 3 seconds.
Fire Action 2 / Num 2: Fire co-axial machine gun.
X / Disable Steering: Switch between AP and HE. Lights in front-left of the seat indicates selected type.
Alt + A/D / Steering: Rotate, main periscope.
A/D / Steering: Rotate secondary periscope.
Camera 1: Gun sight.
Camera 2: Main periscope.
Camera 3: Secondary periscope.
Camera 4: Fixed periscope.

Rear Machine Guns
ALT + Arrow keys / Mouse: Control machine gun.
Fire action 1 / Num 1: Fire.
Camera 1: Machine gun view/sight.

Hatches, viewport opened with buttons on them.
