UNDERTAKER (TOTAL REBUILD)

描述
This is a full rebuild of the UNDERTAKER mod that I originally made a long time ago. Now, with new knowledge, I've rebuilt it from the ground up and added tons of new features and effects!
-----------------------------------------

- Any tombstone has the action "Entomb Remains" (or just LMB on the tombstone) to bury one of the three types of bones.

- Ancient Bones are an exceptionally rare artifact, entombing one will reward you with 5000 XP.
- Tar Bones are found more frequently and reward 500 XP upon each entombment.
- Regular Bones are commonly found throughout the world, and each entombment grants 150 XP.

- With the Tactful skill from the Customs and Folklore tree, whenever you bury bones at a tombstone, you have a 30% chance to improve your reputation with one of the factions. The amount of reputation gained varies depending on the rarity of the bones.

- With the Trash Divining skill from the Customs and Folklore tree, you have a 30% chance to dig up an item whenever you bury bones at a tombstone. The rarer the bones, the better the items you can find.

- Included references to tombstones in both skill descriptions to remind of their alternative use.
- Added sound and visual effects.

-----------------------------------------

It's not a bug - previously, Customs and Folklore cost 150 and automatically granted Tactful, which was free. Now, Customs and Folklore costs 0, and Tactful costs 150, so when choosing the Customs and Folklore branch, you can decide which of the two skills you need more for the burial feature from the mod.

From a balance perspective, everything's in place — but yeah, the Apostles got the short end of the stick... my condolences to them.

I haven't got to try out the main feature yet (so excited for this version of the mod), but I have noticed a wee bug; something about the way you changed Customs & Folklore means that Apostles now don't get Tactful without having the prerequisite Intelligence. Presumably this will also be true for any factions that grant the general skill through the Water Ritual.

Yeah, it’s been a long time. Items and rep don’t drop too often though and only in small amounts - it’s more for a flavor. The main income is XP.

Plus, now it’s become really cozy, so I just enjoying it.

Reworking Battlecry mod in the same way now… the old version was way too spammy... update there soon.

Holy Hells, this was posted back in April?? I feel like it was only yesterday you started creating. I like the runescape-y feel to this, with a new source of non-scaling XP outside of throwing books at the librarian. Though I imagine the reputation piece or the Trash Diviner piece could be gamebreaking depending on the specifics, I think this mod is still a great revamp and I am once again grateful for your work. Live and Drink Mosni!

A full-fledged new vision of the old idea! Hurry up and try it!

- A new source of experience, reputation, and items of varying value!
- No more boring dialog scrolling over every single bone!
- Full support for all bones encountered in the game!
- Sound and visual effects!
- Alternative use of vanilla game skills!
- and much more!

I'm glad to hear that. I hope you have a great time with it, just as I've had. :qudpog:

Thank you so much for these words. It’s truly inspiring. I consider Qud to be one of the most expansive and interesting roguelike RPGs, and I really enjoy playing it. For the most part, I create things that I would personally like to see in the game, and I end up using all of my own mods (and many other mods from other talented folks too). I'm happy to see that they are useful to others and that you guys enjoy with what I do!

I get it, so many ideas, so little time. Feel free to do whatever you feel like doing, don't feel pressured because people are suggesting something or not, the most important thing is doing what you like. I wish you all the best and will keep an eye on your projects, I'm excited to see where you go.

I have plans for several large mods, with quests, strange items, and wierd functionality. But I recently got into modding, and right now I'm still learning the functionality of QUD. I'll add this idea to my long list of ideas.
Nano neuro zombie sounds like a good idea. Haha!

This might be out of the scope of this project, but I think it would be interesting if maybe you could do a ritual with bones, corpses, blood, etc. and bring a creature back from the dead as an ally? Just an idea, I'd like to hear your thoughts!
