Hey, everyone!
You’ve probably wanted to play R.E.P.O. with your xbox controller, but ran into the issue that the developers currently do not support controllers in the game. You’ve been searching for a solution to this problem and found this workshop on Steam! This is the first workshop that will allow you to play with a controller in R.E.P.O., and it’s written in English — the most widely spoken language in the world. If you’re not a native English speaker, you can translate this guide into any language you prefer using a translator.

Let's get started with the installation of this workshop.

Installation

1. Subscribe to this workshop.
2. Start Controller Companion.
3. Start the game.

Most likely, your Xbox Elite controller will work as well and without problems with this profile, as it is still an Xbox controller — just with additional functions and buttons.

Let me tell you how the controllers work and connects to PC;
Like other Xbox controllers, it uses XInput (Xbox Input API), and the Controller Companion program, just like other games, works using XInput to ensure compatibility with all Xbox controllers, otherwise, without this API; connecting the controller to the program or to other games would be impossible.

The fact that you have an Xbox Elite controller, doesn't mean that it will always affect the program's functionality or the profiles from the Steam workshop. If the program recognizes your controller, it means also that the profile will be emulated correctly.

So, answering your question: will this config work as well with the Xbox Elite controller? — Yes, it will be. As I explained it above, everything should work.

Thank you; I bought REPO yesterday and needed controller bindings. I did have to swap shift and tab, but that's about it. I got scared half to death :steamthumbsup:
