One of the biggest stars of the MTV era, Cyndi Lauper's star power helped propel the World Wrestling Federation into a pop culture phenomenon in the early 80's.

Beyond managing Windi Richter to win the Women's Championship at WrestleMania 1, Lauper built a connection with legendary manager Captain Lou Albano, who appeared in music videos for Lauper's hit songs "Girls Just Want to Have Fun", "The Goonies 'R' Good Enough" and "She Bop".

As another small trivia piece, Cyndi Lauper contributed backing vocals to Hulk Hogan's iconic theme song Real American under the pseudonym 'Mona Flambe'.
