From what I've read online and with speaking to some other modders; the good news is the virus is essentially harmless but is widespread across the Steam Workshop.

Basically, there's an old piece of script (the "pseudo-virus") floating around some workshop items (particularly older ones) that propagates from object to object. It tries to make a call to a defunct server, which leads to the game chugging especially after the script has propagated a few times.

Khaaarl's cleaner detects and removes it. I tend to drag my mods/save folder onto khaaarl's script whenever I get a new crop of mods.

No idea what Khaarls Save Cleaner is but I will look into it further and try and get that sorted out

Just thought you should know, khaaarl's save cleaner is detecting this mod as containing the pseudo-virus.
