Then, open the vmt of the broken chrome texture in anything, I personally just use Notepad, and replace ALL the text inside with the following:
"VertexLitGeneric"
{
"$basetexture" "[PATH TO YOUR CHROME TEXTURE HERE]"
"$envmap" "[PATH TO FIXED CHROME TEXTURE HERE]"
}
then put "mat_reloadallmaterials" into SFMs console and you're done!
(btw if that doesn't make sense lmk and I can make a video tutorial or smth LOLL)
