Tour of Duty Combined

描述
Combines the maps from the two vanilla Tour of Duties, allowing all RMG maps to be played in one ToD.

This also adds maps from JustNU's More RMG Maps[www.nexusmods.com] from Nexus, which adds a couple KHG maps that have been modified to be used with RMG.

Enemies will be randomized.

If you get an error about a map defaulting to "Clear Hostiles", just click ignore.

This mod seems to work fine with most vanilla squads and even some modded ones. I have a theory that it ends up crashing a lot more often when the squad comes from a mod that also adds a bunch of different enemies (like Mobile Task Force)

I specifically think the issue is highlited in these lines:

For me it crashed immediately on when I hit start, with no mods loaded

I experienced a crash immediately after selecting which unit to deploy into the Tour of Duty. When I restarted my game I needed to reactivate all of my mods, which I did. I then thought about which mods could have been conflicting, and decided not to reactivate another Tour of Duty mod I had installed. (The 'Tiny Troubles' one). After doing that I was able to play the mod and I was able to play a whole 7 day tour. I then selected 'Continue Tour' and it still did not crash. Don't know if that's the reason for other people's crashes, but removing other Tour of Duty mods might work.

It seems it only affects the large maps, because on smaller maps when the SSI are spawned they are not this dense. When it is apartment sized maps it does not do this, but on large maps compound or factory type maps this occurs. It is annoying as I would really want to have some SSI on the campaign, but when I see this I just forteit the mission :)

@donrosal7 & @Fr0gg00 what unit are you guys using? and if you could get me a seed you're crashing on, that would also help - I haven't been able to replicate it yet but I did have the same thing happen while creating it and had to spread the maps around more between the sectors, would crash right after picking a squad so I would just like to find out why it happens. Possibly a memory thing, who knows.

@orschild Really? That's an odd one, never experienced anything over like 80. If you could try to give me a hint as to what type of maps they are, I can try to tone it down for that/those specific one(s) but the enemy distribution upper limit is actually lower than they have it in vanilla ToDs (mine is 10, vanillas is 12) so it wouldn't surprise me if another mod is playing a part. I honestly prefer it even lower but you have to have them high to get the rewards unfortunately (bonus stars, intel, bonus honor, etc)

It works well for me and it is quite fun as it mixes up a bit, BUT. From time to time the SSI spawn in with like 200+ agents which is a pain in the behind to win. I have tried to figure out why it spawns so many of these guys on large maps in particular.

When I played around with the "Enemy of Russian" mod I recall that there was some file that edited how many troopers there should be. It is a bit excessive when the enemy outnumber you with a ratio of 1:50 and being near peer enemies with both NV and super lethal aim.

If I can figure out why it does that (tbh this could be another mod that causes it) I would change it to not have the large maps be crowded like a convention. .
