Hey! Uhhh, I didn't plan on making this, but here I am! For the Mario Jam!

It's a banana. It attacks like a banana would.

On a more serious note, Banana is a character that can struggle to get kills, but can rack up damage pretty fast with great combo potential.
Trying to swarm the field with your comrades (bananas and banana trees) will be the key to victory, all while conquering the lands.


Other bananas can be place on the field by various methods. While airborne, they will act as bouncy projectiles. They will bounce on any other banana from their player, and even on banana trees.
They can be destroyed by getting hit.
If a banana manages to survive without moving on the field for a very long time, they will eventually turn into a banana tree!

By holding crouch briefly and letting it go, Banana can trigger an attack called "Strong crouch". The other bananas on the field will mimic the Strong crouch attack, and will be invincible while performing it.
This attack is meant to represent the ability of banana peels to make you slip, but as I didn't want them to be permanent hitboxes, you trigger it manually.
As opponents may try to destroy other bananas with attacks, you can surprise them with Strong crouch to disorient them!



Press the button to throw a banana vertically.
If the button is held, the throw angle of the banana will change gradually, and will fire automatically when reaching a certain point.

Banana will turn into its original form and throw itself like a boomerang. It is a very risky move that will put you in pratfall.
However, you will be able to cancel it if you hit an enemy, or a banana. If you do hit, but not cancel it, you will nto go into pratfall!
Bananas hit by the move will be launched again in the air, turning back into a projectile.
Use up and down to stir yourself while moving.
You can use this move for combo purposes, or to launch many bananas in the air at once. Very useful if you have a tree to make them bounce on.
Use with caution!

Banana will launch itself upward, throwing one of its siblings down in the process.
This is a simple recovery that allows you to place an additional banana on the field.

Banana will call for its ancestor to aid it in battle. Its ancestor, the banana tree, will appear and fall to the ground, causing damage at the bottom if it falls from a certain height.
The banana tree will act as a wall to let bananas bounce on. It will also throw bananas on a regular basis.
When a tree gets hit, it loses health, and will despawn its health reaches 0.


-Hitting a banana during the fast section of forward tilt will throw it forward with great speed!
-Banana has a hidden move that requires certain conditions to be met in order to be used. Feel free to bully your friends with it if you find out how to activate it!.
-Dash attacking into a grounded banana will also launch it.


Eat your vitamins and don't drive after drinking a bunch! You might run over a banana peel!
