My version of the LVT-4 or Landing Vehicle Tracked-4 also called Water Buffalo by the US and Buffalo IV by the British. This one in Soviet colours as part of the Lend/Lease program.

The Amphibious Vehicle, Tracked or AMTRAC is an amphibious warfare vehicle and amphibious landing craft, introduced by the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps. The United States Army, Canadian Army, and British Army used several LVT models during World War II, and referred to those vehicles as "Landing Vehicle, Tracked" or LVT.

Originally intended solely as cargo carriers for ship to shore operations, they evolved into assault troop and fire support vehicles. The types were known as amphtrack, "amtrak", "amtrac", etc. (portmanteaus of "amphibious tractor"), and "alligator" or "gator".

This version of the LVT-4 is armed with two .50 cal Browning M2HB and two .30 cal Browning M1919A4 machine guns for fire support.

In August 1943 the older model LVT-2 was modified by moving the engine forward and adding a large ramp door in the rear, allowing troops to exit from the rear of the vehicle. Capacity went from 16 troops in the LVT-2 to 30, making earlier LVTs largely obsolete. This innovation also greatly facilitated the loading and unloading of cargo. Some vehicles received armor kits. It was by far the most numerous version of the LVT, with 8,348 units delivered; the US Army received 6,083, and the British Army 500. It is big enough for a Willy's jeep (of realistic dimensions) to be carried in the cargo hold.

Since there is no occlusion of water in the game sadly the interior is flooded quite badly while at sea, but I didn't want it to float on top of the water but at a more realistic depth so it is what it is.

* IMPORTANT! When switching, make sure the engine is as close to idle (1,000 rpm) as possible to avoid issues.
** I tried using hidden propellers but it didn't work for a couple of reasons so I had to resort to thrusters yet again.

Machine gun standing seats (hidden in the walls)
ALT + Arrow keys / Mouse: Control machine gun.
Fire action 1 / Num 1: Fire.
Camera 1: Machine gun view/sight.

The rear ramp is lowered/raised with the lever on the port/left hand side of the cargo area.
