BAU - Become Adventurer Unconditionally
I'm sure there are other mods out there that do the same thing. But I sure couldn't find them.

What does this do?
It adds a decision to allow you to become an Adventurer. I don't care if you're a Dirty Duke or an Eery Emperor. If you're landed, you're an Adventurer now. That's it.

Is this savegame compatible?
This is the most savegame compatible mod you have ever seen in your life. Turn it on. Become an Adventurer. Turn it off again. Yes, its that simple.

But isn't there a reason I can't become an Adventurer as King or Emperor in Vanilla?
I really have no idea. If there is some janky interactions with court artifacts I don't know about then so be it. I just want to be an Adventurer man.

But doesn't this break the game if I'm in an Administrative Realm?
I have no idea. If you count as Landed in the Code you can press the Button and whatever happens next is a mystery. Make a save beforehand and if it breaks type an angry comment. Then and only then will I put a restriction on it.

Chinese localization
牛奶大魔王 has created a Chinese localization for this mod, which is included in his Chinese localization mod: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3403925213

Please be aware that I cannot account for the contents of the Chinese localization as I don't speak Chinese.

Hey there Dr Zoidberg! I tried it out and what I experienced was that you will not gain renown while you are head of the family and an adventurer simultaneously.

What happened when I tried it out however, was that at the beginning of the next month the game appointed another family member as head of the dynasty and renown continued to be calculated normally without issue.

Please check if running the game until it appoints another member of your family as dynasty head will fix the issue.

It looks like if you become an adventurer but your have already divided up lands to your kin/dynasty they do not contribute to renown. Any idea on how to fix?

Hey there Praire Dog! Happy to hear that you're enjoying the mod. You are correct, the AI does not have access to using this decision, it is restricted to players only.

Hey there, just double checking that the ai won't use this decision at all? This mod is a must have for me! Thanks

Things like that do happen sometimes. Thank you for taking your time to test it out and happy to hear that you have managed to get it working.

Well After I did a little bit of playtesting I think the problem fixed itself ? the problem occured when I just start a game make a custom character and put it in a nation and the decision didnt exactly show up but after I did that like 5 or 6 times since I was trying to understand the problem at some point it just started working normally...sorry for bothering you if something like this happens to you I'll notify it right away thank you for being attentive tho

Hey there Grim! The decision should be available regardless of whether your character is made in the character creator or born naturally. Could you perhaps give me a little bit more information about what you've been doing? What realm type are you ruling where you are currently unable to choose the decision? If you are at war, not an adult or carrying a contagious disease that will prevent you from being able to become an adventurer as well.
Grim 9 月 22 日 上午 10:15
If I make my own character and then get him/her to rule a realm I think the the decision disappears am I doing something wrong or is it just set up with normal characters?

Hey there 织田信长!

It took me a while to figure it out, however when I was able to replicate the issue appeared to be related to titular titles. I have been able to get it to work by forcing all titular titles to be given away as well when becoming an adventurer. Your former realm's government should no longer change and you should retain no holdings when becoming an adventurer. Do let me know if further issues arise. I'm uploading the update as we speak.

AI translation:

Something's off. After enacting the decision, I became an adventurer and passed my title to my heir, but other issues arose.
My empire switched from an administrative government to a feudal one. My heir and vassals were all under an administrative government before.
I somehow have a directly held county! Yes, I’m both an adventurer and holding land, and I even have a few count vassals under my adventurer title.
Oh, this is definitely not right, is it?
