I heavily recommend using strong stick and having strong attack turned off.

Pook and his pet, captain gills, join the battle! Control captain gills with the strong stick to land the killing blows!

If you want him to say something to your character, you can add his taunt compatibility code.

Taunt compatibility code example:

pooktaunttextarr[0] = "This is part 1 of my remark to you." pookautoforward[0] = 4 //the speed to autocontinue the taunt at. if you set it to 0, it will make it so that flint has to press the taunt button again to continue the text pooktaunttextarr[1] = "This is part 2 of my remark to you." pookautoforward[1] = 0

@Shrimps if people have ideas of how to nerf the character without changing the character's playstyle i'd be open to hearing ideas. I really like the playstyle it has and feel it works great for the characters.

I've considered making pook even LIGHTER to make pook easier to kill, but idk how much that would help at higher level play.

@Shrimps I've had a hard time finding any way to nerf the character that didn't ruin the playstyle vibe I'm going for with the character. (for example, the strongs being weakened would really ruin gills' "heavy hitter" vibe, and having too much charge makes it almost impossible to do set ups with using pook)

good character and all but i fucking hate playing against it, invincible luma that stays gone for 5 seconds if its offstage i die from centerstage at 100% as a medium weight and it disjoints across 2 platforms in battlefield. GOOD IDEA but please just tune it a little.
