AI Mod

描述
A mod that makes the tactical and strategic AI more capable, mostly relating to using support corps/companies, but also for mounting more effective attacks without them too. It also uses a lot more artillery now.


Important notes for good results:

Intended and tested on the "customised" difficulty, other difficulties may change the AI's effectiveness.

Requires a new game for the strategic AI to change.

The strategic AI can still get trapped in a bankruptcy loop of being unable to buy buildings/corps, or launch an assault, if you keep winning too hard; giving the AI more money in the difficulty options is recommended.

The changes I made seem to have made the AI worse at defending sometimes, you may need to restrain yourself from exploiting it.

CONTENT:
The strategic AI can now buy up to 100 planes, tanks, and siege artillery(previously around 2).
The strategic AI can now put up to 100 corps of planes, tanks, siege artillery, or infantry in one tile(previously 1 for support companies, and around 20 for infantry), for attack or defence.
I tried to make the strategic AI care more about AI/player tiles with missing stars.
The strategic AI will try to build hospitals first, because it kept going bankrupt from infantry losses.
The tactical AI can build more artillery, and uses it MUCH more, and can use it better.
The tactical AI will use pre-battle siege bombardment much more often, and can use MANY more days of it.
The tactical AI is more willing to use in-battle siege artillery.
The tactical AI can commit more companies to an assault.
The tactical AI is generally better at using planes.
The tactical AI can use more tanks and uses them more often.
The tactical AI upgrades trenches MUCH more often.

BUGFIX:
Bombers can use their defensive guns again.

it s really good.. very challenging now, had to change my tactics in defence and in offence .. whole different ball game than in vanilla .. so far I can only attack with one single well loaded stack in order to win ... 26 infantry units + 10 wings + siege artillery ..b4, I used 3 stacks with 10 to 12 infantry units with only wings to attack 3 times per turn, never really needed siege arti nor tanks .. now I need all that .. and gas is key to win within 20 min.

Yes, it should be quite easy; just disallow the player and AI from researching tanks (you'll have to find the file yourself). There are more thorough ways, but that should be enough.

Hello, you seem to be experienced in mods. Could you tell me if it would be possible to completely remove tanks from the game?
I wanted to make a mod entirely for infantry and artillery, and also keep only the reconnaissance planes.

It should be able to run on its own. I used the devs skirmish maps in campaign mod and the better persistence mod when I made it.

It usually places up to about 10, depending on how much supply it has. It should probably buy less but I'll fix it later.
