alright, pruned my list, new game again
still didn't work

I'll also go make a collection with the steam-only mods rq, may help

so, it hasn't seemed to work
I checked my log file and it appears to load fine. In fact the only Errors are from older mods I manually fixed the version flag for (and aren't code related)
Started a new game really fast for testing, explored the map, plopped down a dome in range and a dome out of range of two bonuses (1 comfort 1 research)
dome in range DOES get +10% research (auto-worked science building to check). BUT the +10 comfort is NOT applying
dome out of range also as normal
and no bonuses UI still.

I'll let you know if that worked, and if not I'll probably start digging through my mod list to see if something's bricked it externally

Seems okay to me? I wrapped the func call in a pcall, so that might help if there's some mod causing other issues.
